Here are five things to know:
1. The new 120,000-square-foot building is scheduled to open September 2018.
2. The new building will be a distribution hub for all of Canada in addition to Stryker’s regional headquarters, which includes human resources, finance and operations staff.
3. Stryker Canada’s headquarters employs 360 people and the new headquarters will add another 200 “knowledge-based” jobs.
4. The business park that Stryker’s headquarters will be built on features 1 million square feet of property. Stryker is the first business to develop the park.
5. Stryker’s new headquarters is expected to attract other business to the community.
