The technology aims to treat chronic back and leg pain in the long term. The implantable stimulator allows chronic pain patients to have 3-Tesla full body MRI examinations.
The first implantations were conducted by Sunil Panchal, MD, at the National Institute of Pain in Lutz, Fla.
