Stimwave Technologies adds chief marketing and strategy officer

Stimwave Technologies, a developer of neurostimulation solutions for chronic pain relief, recently appointed Chris Valois as its first chief marketing and strategy officer.

Mr. Valois has more than two decades of leadership experience in the medical technology industry, according to a Jan. 7 Stimwave Technologies news release. He also has worked with neuromodulation technologies and minimally invasive solutions for spine and orthopedic extremities.

He has held leadership positions at several medical device companies, including FH Ortho’s U.S. division, Xtant Medical, Medtronic, Zimmer Biomet and Tornier.

“We are pleased to have Chris join our team in this newly created critical function. His leadership experience with new therapy development, strategic planning and commercial roles will be invaluable to our company’s growth trajectory. This is a key turning point in the continued commercialization of our innovative spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation platforms,” said CEO Aure Bruneau.
