Here are five key points:

1. The Penta lead, available with the Protégé MRI system, is the only five-column paddle lead that provides for safe head and extremity MRI scans.

2. The Protégé MRI system is the smallest upgradeable R-conditional SCS IPG in the United States.

3. In order to stimulate specific nerve fibers associated with pain, the Penta paddle provides physicians with the largest area of lateral stimulation coverage. Physicians can avoid stimulating unnecessary areas.

4. Because of the range of the Penta paddle, physicians can zone in on clusters of nerve fibers or better address anatomical asymmetries.

5. More than 100 million Americans experience chronic pain.
