SPR Therapeutics reports completion of 1,000th nerve stimulation procedure for OA

SPR Therapeutics announced the commercial placement of its 1,000th Sprint Peripheral Nerve Stimulation system for pain was completed Dec. 4.

Three things to know:

1. The percutaneous Sprint PNS system is intended to provide pain relief without the need for a permanent implant.

2. The device can be used to treat both chronic and acute pain including shoulder, lumbar and postoperative pain.

3. Henry Vucetic, MD, performed the landmark procedure to treat shoulder pain due to osteoarthritis.
