1. Through its design, surgeons implant the system at a minimal height and then expanded, after final positioning in the disc space.

 

2. This design aims to minimize neural retraction and potentially restore anatomical alignment of the spine.

 

3. Mark Grubb, MD, of St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, implanted the first Elite Expandable Interbody System.
