Spine Wave names Brian May new EVP of research and development: 4 points

Shelton, Conn.-based Spine Wave appointed Brian May its new executive vice president of research and development.

1. Mr. May previously served at Warsaw, Ind.-based Zimmer Biomet as a director of knee reconstruction product development.

 

2. He has a master of science in bioengineering form Clemson (S.C.) University.

 

3. In his new position, Mr. May will play a pivotal role in all research and development efforts, contributing to several product launches in 2017.

 

4. Spine Wave develops medical devices intended to treat spinal disorders, with a focus on expandable interbody devices.
