Spine Wave launches new spine system

Spine Wave launched the Salvo 5.5/6 mm Spine System with the devicemaker’s modular screw design, according to a Sept. 27 news release.

Salvo addresses most thoracolumbar fixation procedures, according to the company. Its screw design has separate components that can be assembled after surgical decompression or before implantation.

Spine Wave creates devices for minimally invasive spine surgery and is based in Shelton, Conn.
