Spine, orthopedic 3D printing company undergoes $10M expansion in Tennessee

3D printing company Surface Dynamics is expanding operations in western Tennessee with a $10 million investment, according to The Daily Herald.

Three things to know:

1. The expansion of the Bartlett, Tenn.-based company will create roughly 110 jobs over the next five years.

2. The company plans to hire office, engineering and productions staff.

3. Surface Dynamics is part of UnitedCoatings Group, which provides coatings, 3D printing and other services to orthopedic manufacturers.
