Spine Innovations will be dedicated to developing and promoting ESP disc replacements. The disc uses viscoelastic technology to mimic a natural disc and provide similar motion behavior. The ESP disc earned a CE mark in 2006 and is currently available in more than 15 countries.

Sandrine Carle will serve as the company’s president. On the formation of the independent company, Ms. Carle said: “This is an important milestone for Spine Innovations, and I am so enthusiastic to contribute to its exceptional growth. This autonomy will allow us to strengthen our team for a strong penetration of the worldwide total disc market with our unique viscoelastic technology.”
