Spine device company gets new name

Privately-held spinal device company Innovasive rebranded and changed its name to Amplify Surgical.

“The Amplify Surgical name better emphasizes our commitment to delivering new, cutting-edge, surgical solutions that reestablish the standard of care for our surgeon customers and their patients,” explained Andy Choi, the CEO of the company. “In addition, the new name and brand better represents the Company’s inventive culture and product pipeline.”

The company officially changed its name in January and is in the process of rebranding, which is expected to continue through the end of the first quarter.
