Spinal Elements introduces industry veteran as chairman: 4 takeaways

Spinal Elements elected Steve Healy to serve as chairman of the board of directors, effective Jan. 1.

1. Mr. Healy joined Spinal Elements’ board of directors in May 2018.

2. Previously, Mr. Healy served as general manager of Zimmer Biomet as well as president of Zimmer Spine.

3. A spine industry veteran, Mr. Healy spent time serving as president and CEO of Disc Dynamics and president of the heart valve division of St. Jude Medical.

4. Mr. Healy is a board member of Peytant Solutions and Bioventrix, where he serves as chairman.
