Mr. Simmons will be responsible for marketing, product development and business development, and will be focused on helping the company establish itself in the spine and ambulatory surgery markets.
He has more than 30 years of experience and comes to Spinal Elements after a tenure at Benvenue Medical. He also spent 10 years at DePuy Synthes.
Mr. Simmons said: “I have remained close to the Spinal Elements team since the company’s founding. It is very satisfying to have seen the company continue to innovate while scaling the operation.”
