South Carolina Spine Center hits milestone: 1k Brainsuite iCT procedures

 
Surgeons at South Carolina Spine Center in Greenwood, S.C., performed surgical procedures on 1,000 patients using Brainlab’s Brainsuite iCT, according to a Gwd Today report.

The spine center was the first in the Southeast to adopt the intra-operative technology, which was installed at the center in 2010. The technology allows surgeons to view 3D CT images during surgery to ensure accurate placement of pedicle screws and tumor localization.
