Smith+Nephew to launch robotic surgery training in Europe

Smith+Nephew will launch a digital surgery and robotics innovation center in Munich, Germany.

The center will have a dedicated medical education facility and house the digital surgery and research and development teams. The facility will focus on training surgeons with the Real Intelligence platform and Cori robotic system.

The center is expected to open in late 2022. In October 2021, Smith+Nephew opened a robotics and medical education facility in Pittsburgh.
