Smith & Nephew, OrthoSensor to Co-Market Sensor Assisted Technology With JOURNEY II & LEGION Total Knee Systems

Smith & Nephew and OrthoSensor announced they have entered an agreement to co-market OrthoSensor’s VERASENSE Sensor Assisted Surgery Technology along with Smith & Nephew’s JOURNEY II and LEGION Total Knee Systems.

VERASENSE utilizes sensor technologies to enable evidence-based surgical decisions regarding component position, limb alignment and soft tissue balance.

 

Under the new agreement, surgeons can use VERASENSE to help optimize outcomes when performing total knee replacements with the JOURNEY II and LEGION Total Knee Systems.
