SI-BONE Closes $11M Financing for Commercial and Clinical Expansion

SI-BONE closed an $11 million financing for expansion of clinical and commercial operations of the iFuse Implant System for minimally invasive sacroiliac join surgery, according to a company news release.

The financing was led by Skyline Ventures of Palo Alto, Calif. SI-BONE conducted the financing in order to increase worldwide sales and marketing operations, expansion of the company’s clinical efforts including the SI joint treatment study and spine surgeon education efforts.

Additionally, Skyline Ventures partner Glenn Reicin will join the SI-BONE board of directors. His experience includes bringing several companies public and providing research coverage of medical devices and technologies.
