The system is part of SeaSpine’s ongoing expansion of its Mariner platform, according to a news release. The Mariner MIS Wayfinder eliminates the need for traditional guidewires for percutaneous screw placement during spine surgery.
Mariner MIS Wayfinder is compatible with the 7D Flash navigation system, and initial cases have shown its effectiveness, Shaeffer Bannigan, senior director of product development said in the release.
