RTI Surgical reports $72.1M in Q2 revenue: 5 highlights

RTI Surgical reported its second quarter results with $72.1 million in revenues, a 7 percent increase.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. Direct sales were $43.6 million, a 10 percent increase compared to the second quarter of 2016.

 

2. Double digit growth was reported in RTI Surgical’s spine, surgical specialties and cardiothoracic direct business segments.

 

3. Commercial revenues were $28.6 million, a 2 percent increase compared to second quarter of 2016 results.

 

4. RTI Surgical’s adjusted earnings were $8.3 million or 11 percent of second quarter revenues.

 

5. From these results, RTI Surgical expects full year revenues to be between $274 million and $280 million.
