Polyganics receives FDA clearance for neuroma device: 4 things to know

Polyganics, a Netherlands-based medical technology company, received FDA clearance for its device that decreases neuroma formation, according to Plastics Today.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. The Neurocap device is a transparent tube with a sealed end.

 

2. It is the only synthetic nerve capping device with clearance to manage symptomatic neuromas.

 

3. The device is designed for neuromas occurring after nerve repair.

 

4. Polyganics creates polymer platforms for the development of bioresorbable medical devices.
