Pioneer Surgical Technology announced its nanOss Bioactive bone graft has been successfully implanted into a human.

The bone graft uses proprietary nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite and collagen-based biopolymer to promote bone growth in the posterolateral spine. The implantation occurred in Europe and opened the doors for global distribution.
