Pioneer Surgical Technology Announces First Use of 3D Biologic Device for Spinal Surgery

Pioneer Surgical Technology has announced the first clinical use of its nanOss Bioactive 3D, which is part of its biologic bone graft product line nanOss Bioactive, according to a company news release.

The new device uses proprietary nanocrystalline hydroxyapatite and collagen-based biopolymer to promote bone growth in the posterolateral spine. The company now offers a full line of synthetic bone grafts and human tissue products for spine surgery.
