Paragon 28 acquires preoperative planning company

Paragon 28, a foot and ankle devicemaker, acquired software company Disior.

Disior’s preoperative planning software gives foot and ankle surgeons data needed to create patient-specific surgical plans, according to a Jan. 12 news release. Its products will also complement the assets of Additive Orthopaedics, which Paragon 28 acquired in May, the company said.

Paragon 28 paid $18 million at the closing of the acquisition and agreed to future potential payments of up to $8 million if certain milestones are reached
