Orthopedic Surgeons are More Loyal to Preferred Device Companies Than Other Specialists

A new report from Millennium Research Group suggests that orthopedic surgeons are content with orthopedic device companies and their products, while other specialists, such as cardiologists, express more discontent, according to a MRG news release.

Orthopedic and spine surgeons often feel loyalty to a single medical device company and purchase most of their products from one or two companies, according to the report. Other specialists are more likely to switch brands or use several brands at once.
