Three things to know:
1. The OnSight system delivers high-resolution 3D images in a single 25 second rotation. The system can rotate into a vertical plane to allow scanning of the hand, wrist and elbow. It can also be used for non-weight bearing images of lower extremities.
2. The CT scanner features Carestream’s second-generation metal artifact reduction software, which is designed to improve visibility of patient anatomy near metallic objects and reduce the halo effect.
3. The extremity system can be installed in an exam room and plugs into a standard wall outlet.
