RTI Surgical reports $71.2M in Q4 revenue & more: 10 device company notes

Here are 10 key notes on spine and orthopedic device companies:

RTI Surgical reported its fourth quarter revenues reached $71.2 million, compared to $70.8 million over the same period in 2017. Worldwide revenue was up 0.5 percent for the full year, hitting $280.9 million. Read more.

Implant device company 4Web Medical achieved its largest quarterly sales revenue to date in the fourth quarter of 2018. Read more.

SeaSpine reported big increases in fourth quarter and full-year revenue for 2018, including in both U.S. orthobiologics and spine business lines. Read more. 

Atlas Spine fully launched its HiJAK AC Spacer System, an expandable cervical interbody device with adjustable lordosis.

Misonix appointed Sharon Klugewicz its COO.

Pacira acquired Myoscience, a medical device company focused on targeted therapies for pain relief, for up to $220 million.

Medtronic received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Accurian RF ablation platform, which conducts radiofrequency ablation of nerve tissues.

MedShape commercially launched its DynaClip Bone Fixation system.

IlluminOss Medical launched the IlluminOss Bone Stabilization System in the U.S.

Abrazo Medical Group in Arrowhead, Ariz., installed Mazor Robotics' Renaissance Guidance System for minimally invasive orthopedic spine surgery.
