The agreement gives OrthoPediatrics, a pediatric orthopedic devicemaker, exclusivity in distributing 3D-Side’s 3D-Cut-Osteo to U.S. pediatric hospitals and, in the future, internationally, according to a July 13 press release.
These 3D guides offer surgeons assistance in performing corrective and bone tumor osteotomies by creating a patient-specific guide using CT or MRI images.
“The 3D-Side technology complements the OrthoPediatrics’ pediatric limb deformity implant and biologic offering, and increases exposure in the pediatric oncology market, where many of the most challenging orthopedic cases involving tumor resection require a full complement of solutions including implants, biologics and patient-specific devices,” OrthoPediatrics CEO David Bailey said in the press release.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
