The nView’s S1 system instantly captures 3D images with low-dose radiation and incorporates AI to assist surgeons, according to a Jan. 19 news release. Under the collaboration, Orthofix will use the imaging and navigation system for surgeon education.
The two companies also aim to create an adult cervical spine application and earn FDA clearance to use the guidance system for pediatric limb deformity cases.
