Orthofix acquires Options Medical: 3 things to know

Orthofix Medical acquired Options Medical, a medical device distributor based in Florida.

Three things to know:

1. Under the terms of agreement, employees of Options Medical became Orthofix employees Feb. 1.

2. Options Medical comprises more than 40 team members. The company distributes medical devices to areas in Florida and Connecticut.

3. “Options Medical has been a successful distributor for [Orthofix’s] bone growth therapies devices for many years,” said Brad Niemann, president of Global Orthofix Spine. “We are pleased to have this established and proven partner join the Orthofix team as a part of our direct sales force.”
