Orthocell’s expands Asia presence; tendon repair therapy used in Hong Kong

Orthocell announced that the first Hong Kong-based patients have been treated with its Ortho-ATI therapy, thereby expanding its presence in Asia, according to a News-Medical report.

Two patients were treated with the Ortho-ATI therapy, a tendon repair therapy. The therapy involves taking tendon cells from a patient and the injecting them into the damaged tendon.

 

The global regenerative market is expected to see rapid growth in the next five years, and Asia is expected to be the fastest growing region for these therapies, according to the report.
