Ortho Development celebrates 25 years

Orthopedic device design company Ortho Development Corp. celebrated its 25th anniversary Sept. 15.

The company was incorporated on Sept. 15, 1994. It develops all its products in-house, working with orthopedic surgeons to create patient-facing products. The company touts a portfolio of implants and instruments for total hip and knee replacement, trauma fracture repair and spine treatment.

Starting with just four employees and a Japan-based distributor in 1994, the company now has a staff of 125 and distributes throughout the U.S., Japan and Australia.
