Orchid Medical Acquires WIN’s Surgical Implant Business

Orchid Medical, a provider of ancillary healthcare services, has acquired the surgical implant business from Workers’ Implantable Network.

WIN partners with manufacturers, physicians, hospitals, and surgery centers to effectively manage patient care and cost containment on spinal cord stimulators and other implantable orthopedic devices. This acquisition is part of Orchid Medical’s overall strategy to expand quality programs that significantly reduce the cost of implantable surgical devices to workers’ compensation payors.
