Onward’s Arc-IM Lumbar Lead used in first patient

Onward’s Arc-IM Lumbar Lead was used in its first human patient, the company said March 26.

Dr. Jocelyn Bloch performed the debut case at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) in Switzerland, according to a news release. 

The Arc-IM Lumbar Lead is specifically designed for the lumbar spine and works with the Onward Arc-IM neurostimulator. The company is working on a variety of leads to improve mobility, blood pressure stability and bladder control in spinal cord injury patients and patients with Parkinson’s disease.
