NuVasive Settles Patent Dispute With Orthofix, Includes $2M Settlement

NuVasive has settled a patent dispute with Orthofix and The Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation, which includes a $2 million payment from Orthofix to cover the settlement, according to a Bloomberg Businessweek report.

NuVasive filed the lawsuit against Orthofix and the foundation in April, claiming the Orthofix’s Trinity Evolution infringed on property owned by NuVasive. The complete terms of the settlement were undisclosed.
