NuVasive seals Biotronic NeuroNetwork acquisition deal: 4 things to know

San Diego-based NuVasive completed its acquisition of Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Biotronic NeuroNetwork, according to StreetInsider.com.

Here are four things to know:

 

1. Biotronic NeuroNetwork offers intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring services.

 

2. NuVasive acquired the company to better assess how spine procedures are approached economically and clinically.

 

3. With the acquisition, NuVasive has bolstered its impulse monitoring business.

 

4. The company expects to offer intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring services in more than 75,000 cases each year in the United States.
