Here are five takeaways:

1. NuVasive’s lateral portfolio expansion enables surgeons to treat pathologies from T6 to S1, delivering efficient and predictable clinical outcomes.

2. The Lateral ALIF is designed to reduce time and improve efficiency in the operating room. The procedure is built on a new retractor system designed to give access to L5-S1.

3. Stemming from the XLIF platform, XLIF Crestline is designed to gain lateral access to difficult L4 and L5 levels. The off-angle procedure allows access to disc space traditionally reached through a posterior approach.

4. Lateral MAS Fixation uses Reline, which is designed to preserve and restore spinal alignment.

5. NuVasive will present the new lateral solutions at the upcoming North American Spine Society annual meeting. Multiple physicians will host social innovation lab demonstrations.
