Mike O’Halleran and Pat Miles will serve on the board of the spine surgery company starting Aug. 1, according to a release.
Here are three takeaways:
1. Mr. O’Halleran will serve as the independent director of the company and join the board’s audit committee. He brings more than 40 years of business experience with him to the board.
2. Mr. Miles, who is currently president and chief operating officer of NuVasive and on the company’s executive management team, will serve as a non-independent board member. Mr. Miles has worked in the orthopedic and spine industry for more than 25 years.
3. CEO and Chairman Gregory Lucier lauded the appointments to the board.
