The program is designed to help healthcare organizations save costs, reduce variation in products and streamline inventory management. The agreements are awarded to Stryker, Howmedica Osteonics, Zimmer, BSN Medical, DeRoyal Industries, DJO, Breg, Medline Industries and Ossur Americas.
The orthopedic product categories include arthroscopy accessories, bone cement, casting and splinting, cement accessories, environmental protection, localized cold therapy, orthopedic power tool cutting accessories, orthopedic softgoods, post-operative autotransfusion, sports bracing, tourniquet cuffs and wound lavage. The agreements are effective for members Oct. 1.
