Norwood Hospital Adopts MAKOplasty Partial Knee Resurfacing Technology

Norwood (Mass.) Hospital is now offering MAKOplasty Partial Knee Resurfacing for patients with early- to mid-stage knee osteoarthritis, according to a Boston Globe report.

MAKOplasty technology can offer several benefits, including less implant wear and loosening, smaller incisions, reduced blood loss and less scarring. In addition, the technology allows surgeons to perform partial knee surgeries on an outpatient basis.
