Nexus Spine appoints sales exec

Devicemaker Nexus Spine named Steve Cichy as vice president of sales, according to a Feb. 17 news release.

Mr. Cichy’s appointment is part of the company’s plan to commercialize its spine devices. He previously had sales leadership roles at companies including Titan Spine, Stryker and Sulzer Spine-Tech. As executive vice president of sales at Titan Spine, he drove annual revenues from $1.2 million to $70 million before the company was acquired by Medtronic.

Nexus Spine recently added Andrew Shepherd as vice president of marketing and Dave Ivanko as vice president of quality engineering and manufacturing.
