NextAR is the first orthopedic surgical platform that offers personalized AR solutions for both joint and spine replacement procedures using real-time data.
It uses 3D planning tools and a single-use tracking system to display a patient’s unique anatomy on NextAR’s Smart Glasses, which give surgeons enhanced visualization and control during procedures.
NextAR recently received approval for use from the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
Medacta’s technology is used worldwide, and particularly useful in U.S. ASCs.
“We are extremely proud that this unique, lean and sustainable technology has reached a new relevant market, where it has sparked the interest of many surgeons. NextAR represents a new dimension for enabling technologies, seamlessly integrating into well-established surgical workflows,” Francesco Siccardi, CEO of Medacta International, told MarketScreener.
