​​Neuralink implanted in 2nd patient

A second patient received a Neuralink implant, USA Today reported Aug. 5.

Elon Musk, founder of Neuralink, said in a podcast with Lex Fridman that the second case has gone well so far, the report said. Mr. Musk predicted that in the future, the number of electrodes in Neuralink implants will increase to improve signal processing.

Neuralink, which is designed to help spinal cord injury patients, was first implanted in a human patient in January. The implant helped that patient improve his quality of life.
