National Capital Region Medical Adopts HemaClear Device

OHK Medical Devices, the producer of the single-use, sterile tourniquet device HemaClear, announced today that National Capital Region Medical has begun utilizing HemaClear for bloodless orthopedic procedures.

National Capital Region Medical includes Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. These hospitals will now have HemaClear readily available to treat military orthopedic patients. The device is designed to reduce infections, increase the surgical field and allow bloodless orthopedic procedures.
