1. The Procotyl Prime Acetabular Cup System is an implant designed for highly-cross linked polyethylene and modern 3D fixation surfaces.

2. The implant contains a strong and flexible shell that has maximized poly thickness and robust pull-out strength while also allowing versatility of large head options in smaller sizes.

3. Procotyl Prime is designed to be compatible with a variety of surgical approaches, including all of MicroPort’s soft tissue sparing technologies.

4. MicroPort developed the system to preserve soft tissues, reduce patient recovery time and direct acetabular visualization.

5. James Chow, MD, of Phoenix-based St. Luke’s Medical Center, assisted in the 20 year development of the Procotyl Prime Acetabular Cup System.
