Here are five things to know:
1. Mr. Turpin was named to K2M’s board of directors and the audit committee.
2. He is the executive vice president, employee benefits for USI Insurance Services, an employee benefits and risk management brokerage and consulting company.
3. He has previous experience in leadership roles at United Healthcare and Marsh & McLennan.
4. He earned his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College.
5. Mr. Turpin assumed his position on the board in April.
