Mr. Schweitzer has 28 years of experience in the medical device industry. Biomodex hopes his skills will drive its neurovascular and cardiac portfolios toward commercialization.
During his 10-year tenure at Medtronic, he held several executive leadership roles, including vice president of the company’s neuro and cardiac business units, where he oversaw the $2 billion neuromodulation division.
Before joining Medtronic, Mr. Schweitzer served as vice president of medical device manufacturer Boston Scientific.
He is also CEO and cofounder of Neuromodtronic GmbH, a developer of noninvasive optic nerve stimulation for the treatment of neurological disorders.
