Medtronic to lease Indiana space to competitor

Medtronic is allowing spine devicemaker Autocam Medical to lease its space in Warsaw, Ind., Ink Free News reported Feb. 24.

Medtronic announced plans to shift production from Warsaw to other locations in October. The move would affect about 200 employees. A timetable of the move wasn’t available.

Autocam Medical is based in Kentwood, Mich., and produces surgical drill bits, screws, implants and other devices.
