Medtronic Spine Revenue Drops 5% This Quarter

Medtronic reported that revenue from its spine business reached $786 million for the first quarter of fiscal year 2013, down 5 percent compared to the same quarter last year.

The company’s Core Spine revenue fell 1 percent to $645 million, while its BMP revenue fell 19 percent to $141 million declined 19 percent. Medtronic reported overall quarterly revenues of $4 billion, a 2 percent increase.
