The product is part of the CD HORIZON family of fixation devices designed to provide spinal stabilization and correction as an adjunct to fusion. The SOLERA is compatible with Medtronic’s minimally invasive technologies and can be integrated with the company’s navigation systems and NIM-ECLIPSE neuromonitoring system.
The system includes multiple rod material options, choice in rod flexibility and rod strength. The smaller implants can provide the increased room for bone graft required for fusion and reduce impingement on the facet joints.
The system implants include the VERIFYI implant tracking system technology in a manner that meets anticipated FDA requirements for unique device identifications.
