Medtronic Granted CE Mark, Launches Updated Compact Cervical Cage in Europe

Medtronic received CE Mark for its new Compact CORNERSTONE-SR Alliance cervical cage and has initiated the European product launch.

The new product expands on the CORNERSTONE-SR technology and includes four new titanium fixation spikes, beveled edge and side chambers. The implants are not currently available in the U.S.

The cervical cage is used to treat patients who suffer from cervical disc disease.
